REALLLYYYYY...Then why a question like THIS for a YOUNG 3.5 yr company trying to go GLOBAL????????
"Question for all of you who are much smarter than I am.... exactly when does a company stop being a "start up company" and just become a company? Is there a dollar figure, budget figure, particular year?"
5 years is a good breaking point from start up to entering growth phase. Most small companies go out of business in 5 years, so if WNBD can survive, they will be in rare company.
Companies like SmartWater started very small in regional mom and pop stores and grew into a national brand. There are examples, everywhere and it just takes time to break into a major retailer.
