I think you are willfully not reading my post for some reason. The message was "from" Neomedia. It was a weird message, but we had to assume it was legit -- why on earth would an investor send some kind of you're-infringing-on-our-patent message? Yeah, *that* makes no sense whatsoever!
The company seemed irrelevant to what Google needed, given its strategy, so nobody bothered with it further. That was quickly clear from even the message, so it was discarded as something of interest. Once this was cleared up later, that conclusion didn't change. Tell me where I lost you there.
I love the statement someone just made -- the only logical conclusion is that I am a MSFT operative! This sounds like reasoning out of Monty Python.
