if big $$ wants to own a float, there's no better strategy than to trade a stock sideways for a long, long time. why? because weak hands get impatient and either get churned out, or are willing to sell on the first pop, for a very slight gainer. this allows stronger hands to control more shares, for less money, and then hold for a major run.
