What would be presented as more material?--the takeover of a comatose company, or the 6 person SA interim (including daffyDD, and colonel snorer, etc.)? Embellishment: Maybe these funny english posters work for Reckit Beckin.., and they are censoring the posts in an attempt to 'pin' the share price down. The motive is obvious: to allow RB (not blatch) to acquire Cor on the cheap (i.e., the carcass of Cor and a good Dr.).

An SA analysis would then be premature material, and thus jeopardize/risk the financial interests of the shareholders.

The counterargument is that SA is material and must be disclosed. But in these circumstances, I agree with you--not that the acquirer's interests trump the law, but they might trump Cortex's concerns about the FD issues.
