Tapco you write; (and thanks for the absence of quote marks)
By holding back on a potential gas figure in (tcf's)...... ..........you have alienated some of the board members who are now questioning your stock trading motives.
You have the ability to rectify the position some of the posters have taken to try and discredit you, Please convert Huge and Very Huge discoveries into potential oil equivalents.
and further down;
Remember this board, for over (10) years, has Oil as the primary term used in measureing their potential return on investmet.
-------------------
You seem to forget that over the years I too had oil as primary reference. But I also kept an open mind as I explained (again) in my #186829 to Miami last night. Please refer to it again, because poster negativity towards my "rants(?)" is to my mind completely unjustified at least on the grounds you state. It is complacency which breeds that kind of suspicion...and a dislike of dissenting views.
Moreover, as for my motives I have again in last night's posts made it crystal clear that far from spurious trading intentions, my motivation has been to sensitivize PIs to the (potential) reality of a mostly gas finds and thus mitigate disappointment. I am not however a Florence Nightingale. By so doing I hope to forestall disappointment turning into mass selling upon formal release of news....and thus pull down the value of the sp......Quite the opposite of deramping I should think!
To quote the Miami post "...hopefully they will remember the main arguments made......and not reach for the panic sell button."
..and perhaps closer to the issue of magnitude you address, these closing lines in the post(#186830) to Wcmon, immediately following Miami's
"..... although "mostly gas finds" may cause you some disappointment, my consistent inclusion of the word "huge" (or very large), should certainly not make for sleepless nights. On the contrary."
I would call that a ramp,an upbeat pump if ever there was one....hardly an attempt to drive down shareprice.
Nevertheless you may have a point about offering an order of magnitude. It would perhaps concretize what I am saying.
So, what does "huge" mean?
Although I cannot and and will not provide actual figures quoted per well, I can at least tell you that the (rough) estimate of the gas volumes discovered at Kina, Lemba and Bomu, reach AKPO size NG reserve proportions. In other words, well over 2Tcf...possibly even approaching 3Tcf. And that for NG which is the dominant find, not other liquid shows, present but in much smaller quantities (and for which I have no numbers).
1Tcf = ~168Mboe.
Three JDZ wells drilled so far. Three discoveries. And Malanza, if you read and understand Pup's recent post, is clearly on the path to a fourth discovery.
100% drilling success then. People must be insane if they think I am attempting a short and a deramp via my mostly huge gas comments.
