There's a catch all right. It's called Foxton technology and based on early technical disclosure from HP it is a comp- letely new approach to manage design, manufacturing, and power budget margining for CMOS chips in a single unified and comprehensive fashion. IMO it could easily become a major competitive advantage for Intel in high end MPUs and eventually desktop chips too.
