My take is that this round of drilling is showing there is indeed a massive field in the JDZ that will play out like APKO; many smaller targets comprising an impressive total. I think it is going to be quite large, but how large? Also, composition of the field as to % gas vs oil? Either/or both will be extremely commerical and we investors will do handsomely.
I am drifting to the side that this will take longer than I expected/desired when I invested in ERHC as I previously thought we would be long gone as a company by late next summer.
I understand the need for deliberate analysis at this stage of the game and am growing weary of the daily "I want it now!" "Why are we down 1 penny?" "Shoot me, I can't take it anymore" wailings. NOTHING is going to happen (except SP maybe waffle a bit down) until results are published. We may not like it but we have to accept it.
Big developments take time to come to fruition and I feel we now are in the infancy of such a development. I do expect our SP to increase dramatically when the scope of our findings is published and I am not concerned they will be hidden by SNP.
I expect we will be in fine shape (easily $1+) as to SP by March
Looks pretty positive from my angle. If nothing else, with this attitude I will have a very Merry XMAS.
