in 2009 through October was approximately 881,000,000 Total
in 2008 there was approximately 1,238,000,000 shares traded total.
Total shares traded since November 2007: approximately 2.12 billion shares
So just over 2 billion shares traded in the last 2 years. Assuming that a number of those had to be part of the float as a number on this board have talked about selling their shares, the actual outstanding number can not be all that high.
In the 2008 business plan it says that there was about 1.2 billion restricted shares. by this time, those share could probably be sold, which would not affect the o/s, since they had already been included.
I don't play guessing games when it comes to numbers, but since the share volume has been so low since the last share update, you can see that the o/s probably has not gone up all that much. imo
