those were my initial thoughts(hopes) but some have claimed that those of us that might be holding airshares will just end up getting airshares of GFGU as well making the shorter now on the hook for 2 short positions. i dont know if that is true or not

Yup, it wouldn't matter if GFGU sold holy condoms and were priced at a penny...airshare sellers can't get the shares to pay a divy, so have to cover. Now if there is no airshares as some proclaim, it'll be a non-event. But if there is, there is no top price SPNG can't reach in theory.
