Teva is working on a new “low volume” formulation of Copaxone that could conceivably be launched as soon as late 2010. From the 1Q09 CC held in May:

…Teva is developing a number of product enhancements, aimed at improving the administration of Copaxone for all patients. Our latest formulation contains 20 milligram of glatiramer acetate in much smaller injection volume. In June [2009], we will begin a study to assess whether decreasing the injection volume can improve the injection experience for patients.
