that is true. moreover, in the past few weeks there were
occasions where gold traded down with the dollar. obviously,
the dollar is only one factor to watch. I further believe that the dollar was in a bubble so its affects on gold may be
slightly exaggerated. however, i believe there are many
traders that key off of the dollar in trading the PMs and i try and anticipate flow amd movement. foreign currency is also a factor as many overseas cherish the PMs when reasonably priced in their respective local currency. the bigger question is whether we are witnessing a long term turn.
