Computer locked up for first time since I got it two months ago. Nothing like flying blind from 3:30-3:50 EST to rattle ones brain. Looks like Taco Bell for dinner tonight. Was only able to get $.08 out of KLAC for almost 4 hours. Pretty lame rally in semi land.
I expect a shot at 300 or below on Monday in the SOX. Hey we got this close, whats another 15 -20 points. I have been extremely patient ( i am learning) with my margin deployment. My target was lowered to 310 from 330 and then again to 300 yesterday. If we hit or break 300 on the SOX on Monday I will have my August 280 calls for better or worse.
Haven't picked up the QCOM yet either. Was mighty temped before earnings, but didn't want to risk a miss. Then when it failed to get past 28 in AH last night and in pre market I felt it would be soft today. Turns out it was. Sometimes I surprise myself.
My latest feeling is that they will take it to 24 plus or minus a quarter on Monday in an attempt to freak out the longs. They will say, but it was such a good earnigns report, why is it dropping? Stops will be hit, then they can start the Jam job. If this rally decides to start before I die, I see QCOM rising from 24 area to 35-40 range over the next month. Thats a ride I want to take.
