The lipid trigger was not about how much of the oil you could extract. It is about causing the algae to produce more in the first place. Hence, making more available for extraction, not increasing the actuall extraction process.

hey new dog, the lippid trigger is not what you think, they already can extract the oils, the trigger is a reation that CAN trigger the EXTRA production of 50% MORE OIL in the algae.

sorta like an athlete who eats his wheaties, you know, run faster, jump higher, etc. hmmm maybe that was keds. lol, but still the analogy works, steroids for algae if you will.
