I had called it Southwest Texas as I think of the area as the Southwest (USA). It is actually near New Mexico.

This map was referenced and it is the Plains - high plains about 3600 feet.

I don't know what the significance is. Someone was discussing its location and where it might be. Was just clearing it up for those who were wondering.

Although agriculturally, there is a huge difference between the high plains and south Texas.
