I would agree that someone playing at this level must have access to ways of analyzing the DD better than little guys like me. Pike should serve as an indicator of good things going on in a company. What confuses me is why after they filed the stock price held steady, no flinch at all. Anyone care to take a guess as to why?

Maybe he had previously dumped a bunch of illegally freed up shares and was frantically buying them back. That would explain why a sophisticated investor would not wait and buy at his price choosing instead to chase offers for twice what he might have otherwise paid.
