My lawyer buddy and I had a long talk about the case yesterday. He, like Bopfan, is perplexed at some of the things that have happened. He said no judge in thier right mind would have taken some of the BS JPM lawyers have thrown at her in the courtroom from a lack respect situation. He said either Walrath knows about something else going on, or is a bit weak.
He was very adamant about the fact that when a judge says ASAP, they usually to stick to that. If they don't there is definatly someting going on behind the scenes, either a deal is being worked out or the judge has been compromised. Or the judge is simply incompetent.
He doesn't think it will go more than another week or two before a decision comes on the 4.4 billion, we'll see. Btw he owns shares, and after reviewing all the legal documents confirms that Weil et al are playing this perfectly and doing a great job.
