LG, I suspected my motherboard was bad when the boot routine stopped at the memory check. There is probably just a problem with that part of your motherboard. When I was troubleshooting, I made sure the clips were tight, the angles correct, pins all in, everything. I even grounded myself before messing with all that stuff. Changed the memory, switched it to different slots, and kept unplugging other stuff on the board all the while too by mistake. What a hassle in a tight case.

If you're trading, you may be better off just going out and buying a replacement board. The money spent can be earned just by trading without the hassles and distractions.

Good luck! I'm looking to get major long on a re-test or re-trace of this rally, as I don't think it will last long.
