So is NEP....I noticed how cheap the April $2.50 calls were and grabbed 20 contracts @ 2.20. That gives me twice the bang for my buck with little more risk than buying the stock....
This is unfortunately a bit of rearview mirror looking but it's still helpful.
As far as agreeing to disagree about names like CSOL... It's helpful discussion but ultimately, it's all about what the Street (charts) say that matters. Here's CSOL:
What we have is a failed breakout, return to major trendline support. The Street is pretty much agreeing with the thought: "show me the money" -- this appears to be a decent buy at .40 right now with limited upside short term until management provides clarity.
In general - I notice after a big drop, investors everywhere stop talking about stocks and start making lots of predictions about price targets -- mostly projecting the recent slide downward. Interesting phenomenon. And often a sign that fear has taken over the market. Not surprisingly -- futures are green today. It's okay to be fearful -- but it's helpful to recognize it. I'm feeling lots of fear so I have been telling myself to be patient and think carefully as I am now prone to making terrible decisions when I'm in this emotional state. Recognizing your emotional state can help. And knowing almost everyone else is feeling the same way helps too. Why else would people be giving away CKGT or other names at these prices?
Best chart I'm seeing right now (non-China ALIF.ob) --
Good luck to all. Let's try to stay calm and work together here.
