Omega, please.... you wave around these names as if they've all been convicted of capital crimes. Van Jones left the Obama administration over a petition he signed his name to, and from what I can tell in looking at his resume, he's had a history of good works and accomplishments.
Acorn has also been a great advocate for civil rights and equality, and a great community organizer. I'm certainly not happy with the voter registration problems or the corruption of some of their employees, but why smear the entire organization over that?
The only commonality here is the extreme level of character assassination seen from the conservative media - along the lines of McCarthyistic witch hunts. It hasn't been proven that these are bad people - it is merely claimed to be so through a litany of accusations.
That's another reason why it's hard for me to watch some of the conservative programming that you like. These media engines can't simply report what these people have done, or call out things they find are wrong - they have to render a complete character assassination and make these people so villified that you can't help but label them criminals and disregard everything they have ever done or said.
And by association, Obama's past relationships with these people is portrayed as an extension of that criminality.
That's not balanced, Omega. It's purely agenda driven and politically motivated. It's not right....
