Fair question!
First, I'll say, looking back at my posts, most were trying to figure out what Wrinkles was talking about. When I put a direct question to him about the 'news' he claimed he heard, he flat refused to say anything about it... then he crowed about "you should've listened". None of that made sense to me.. but anyway..
I have held IVIT, along with POWN, ANVH, and BBDA for over a year and have followed all their discussions on this site (though not so much BBDA ...too friggin many posts!). I stopped out with IVIT with a loss (at $0.0004) and wasn't sure if I cared to follow it much more. That's part of the reason I was quiet. But the price climb kept me very curious. For the couple of posts that I talked down the company, what sense would they make if the price was starting to jump? What's the point of me just peeing on everyone's parade?! Especially if there isn't anything new to say anyway... my complaint was that IVIT went dead silent for a long time, and now they were issuing news. That's the other reason basically.
Since I'm blathering, I'll say this about IVIT. Its following the same pattern I've seen in 3 of the 4 pennies I mentioned. I bought.. all sort of news gets spewed...price goes up... then nothing and price plummets. There are definately differences between these stocks... but the paterns are the same. Heres the scorecard:
ANVH: Makes all sorts of plans and promises. Declares a dividend. Everyone gets a dividend.. then (and this was neat).. Everyones dividend gets RETRACTED. The company (IMHO) is a fraud. Scottrade will not allow the stock to be traded at the moment(fact).
BBDA: Makes all sorts of plans and promises. Puts adds on some minor sports figure. Then.... nothing..company is sold to someone else. There have been pictures of bottled water that they make (Pirhana). Either its just a failed/struggling company.. or a very cool fraud! Its price is so low, my selling fee is worth more then my position!
IVIT: Makes all sorts of plans and promises....... 6 months later... News (out of the blue) about a contract in a field the company has never entered before. Price goes up... and the silence begins anew. We'll see if more news comes out... but I would not hold my breath for anything other then 'news'.
All 3 had all sorts of plans .. ie: moving up from the pink sheets, new contracts, etc. None have followed through. And each one's stock dropped well below the price when I bought in. Of all of the above.. I'll give IVIT the credit of being the most legitamite business. It ran websites for advertising.. and the sites are there! But over the past year, it seems like Mr Sorkin is, at best, indifferent about the success of IVIT.
Honorable mention: POWN: I bought that one simply because it is Stan Lee (Marvel comic author). And to their credit.. they have made no plans or promises! At least not while I've had them. And POWN does actually have products... but they apparently cannot propel the stock!
