Capitulations are "essential" for solid advances, like last September and April, but we could have a mild one like February this year. I think we are having capitulation put in place. I for one just got back in MU at $20.28 and in ZRAN at $15.40. Also doubled OAKT again under $4 here.
Isn't there a cap on the amount of shares 'allowed' to be shorted? I always assumed there was ....... never had a reason to question it, until viewing recent data. FWIW ..... I've never seen short interest reach such heights in individual stocks .... nearing 50% of float in some issues.
