epsteinbd: I cannot believe that a responsible CEO did not know the nature of a series of deals involving hundreds of millions of dollars with a client that (at that time) had a market cap as large as Enron. If they didn't know what was going on, they were negligent.

Difficult for me to believe that a CEO as astute and involved in managing his company as Sandy Weill didn't know what was going on under his nose. More importantly, it will be difficult for him to prove that against a class action suit from some of the most high-powered and talented legal teams.
