Management has done everything in their power to turn institutional shareholders off to this stock. It's easy to put up barriers to the retail crowd, like limiting callers to one question during the CC, or only having the meeting hall for an hour and a half at the ASM, blowing them off via IR emails and such.
But, they can't do the same if an institutional shareholder with the money and resources to defend their position were to buy into the company.
And, that's the greatest threat that you, me and the others who see through this facade present to management, attention.
The last thing that they want is an activist institution from seeing the potential to get involved while this company is in a weakened position and getting management thrown out.
They're worried, you and I know it, and their actions, like calling big block retail shareholders to get them to vote their slate shows it.
Gonna be a fun time this next week.
