Technically the EURUSD may have a reversal in the next few days. It got to 1.4950 area today. I'm contemplating putting on some long dollar positons in the next day or 2 - likely goign into the weekend. 1.4630 area shuld be support so I think you can make 300 pips in a week or so as it consolidates the move.

I wouldnt be suprised if we see some hard talk out of Europe as the EUR gets to the 1.50 area - this is killing their exports.

Japan can't rally with the rest of the world because of the strong Yen - I would be shocked if there's not atleast some concerted talking up of dollars and maybe some direct intervention if that doesn't work.

I wouldn't bash Noriel just yet. Twenty something percent of that gain was solely because of the falling dollar. We aren't out of the woods yet.

jbog, anyone who acted on Roubini’s advice during early 2009 is now very, very sorry. Those who manage an institutional investment portfolio (as I do in my “other” job) and got hoodwinked by Roubini have probably been demoted—or are out of a job entirely.
