Col. Kilgore: The stock, CASA, has a 1.9m float. Sure, the volume is low...but this didn't prevent it from moving from 4 to 9+. I wouldn't bet the farm on this, wouldn't put 50% of your trading capital into it; but it looks higher.

i had a local ice cream chain that i bought and sold a few times. all holds were longer term for me since it only traded about 10k shares a day and moved in spurts similar to that one after lingering in an area for weeks with no movement. i wonder if that is more typical of the low vol stocks
