Not at all..I too think there will be some buyouts..There are some Jrs. out there with some MAJOR discoveries however are 3-5yrs. from actual mining. the Jr. sector is heating up like crazy with all the new talk about the more obscure metals, REE's etc.
I have begun to lean more towards jrs that are PRODUCERS. more specifically GOLD/COPPER with those two metals you have a built in hedge against inflation as long as the are committing equal efforts. In our IBOX EVERY company listed has a reference as to what they are as far as stage of development
EXJ = Exporatory Jr.
NTPro = Near Term Producer
ProJ = Producing Jr.
PMM = Producing Major Miner..
this will help you weed out what you do or dont want..I apologize for the charts in the ibox being on the blink that would be my next step to see how they've performed for the last year on a weekly basis.. you can still find each chart here if you do a seach by symbol and company name within the board. Our charts are designed to help identify trends that may or may not be occuring. You obviously need to do your own DD. We've made it far easier to do so in the Company listings. There are website links, email addresses and phone numbers to call IR ppl.I'd pick a few list your objectives and start running through em..
