#189168 RE: lesnshawn #189164

To add...afterall, if/when NSR's 2D barcode clearinghouse is setup, it would make sense that every single 2D barcode (indirect, anyway...will this usher in the death of the direct code?) MUST go through their 2D barcode clearinghouse (at least initially here in the U.S.). In that view, Scanbuy has no choice but to settle and pay the piper if they want to play.

I don't see why NeoMedia would let Scanbuy off the hook easily.

The industry wants conformity and Scanbuy continuing to hold out hope for a court win prevents that and prevents the window of opportunity for the proliferation of 2D barcdodes from staying open. They battle too long, the window closes...not only for NeoMedia, but Scanbuy and everyone else involved who could profit from mass proliferation and acceptance of 2D barcodes by the public.

Nobody wants that.

I still think Scanbuy's new boilerplate on their PR's points to a merger between the two w/ the Scanbuy name sticking. Scanbuy would then take the sales arm of the biz and NeoMedia would stick to the plumbing.

Also, w/out an 8K yet for additional monthly financing (over three months now), I think a substantial sum of money has been transferred into NeoMedia's coffers in advance of a major event (change of control?).

Again, JMO,
