Lmao, if it's 'nasty' it just needs to be replaced, that all. It's a natural envirementally friendly decomposing mulch. No trees harmed, it's actually beneficial because it comes from managed forests and it's really quite beautiful, just not when it needs to be replaced, like any mulch is. Plus, when replaced like it's supposed to, it covers trimmings, any leaves that may be in the area, and all sorts of little nasty things that end up in natural areas giving a yard a gorgeous finished look. Believe me, it's beautiful when done right, I know for a fact. Fwiw, you can buy whatever kind of mulch you want down here lol.
It is much hotter in the summer though. But, on the flip side, we're having positively gorgeous weather now and it will be very nice for a while yet. 'Icky' pine trees mean that in the winter time, we have green trees, not just bare limb trees which we have as well. Mild winters too. Hey, we have short sleeve weather in December sometimes. Hot summers, long beautiful falls and nice Spring's which are at times a bit short. Lot's of wet weather this fall though lol. Still, it's unbelievable weather right now. Perfect.
Lol, felt like I had to stick up for my state. It's not a big deal if you don't like it. No problem. We've had so many move in and keep moving in that we're not hurting for new folks to come down. The state government owes no debt and we're getting new corporate headquarters relocations quite frequently. Kia put in a huge plant(first U.S. factory) and NCR just relocated a few months ago from Ohio. Sure, times aren't exactly booming for everybody right now but we'll pull through. We're tough.
