this is tragedy writ large. the "word of God" is now in the hands of those who "know" better. Even in the views of believers in that aspect of the God's Word bible story, it is absolutely mind boggling contradiction that is somehow swallowed easily and whole. I know that not all believers subscribe to that sort of politicization, but there you have it.
