a belated welcome to the thread diesel. i forgot to add that yesterday on your first post over here as i do with all first time posters.

those small local banks are gems. im thinking back about 5-6 years ago and the big guys were buying 10 a year or more. i remember distincly hoping my little savings and loan would go pulblic and get taken out but they remained private. with all the ridiculous charges the mondo banks have, the smaller ones have a great niche and will continue to prosper almost independent of the economies health imo. doesnt mean tehy wont drop the share price if the markets tank, but they will hold up much better than most stocks
