The "cahootists" and a few other select folks enjoyed the story thoroughly... two of the gals I work with are now fired up to try it and one of the guys kept spreading his wings every time he glided by me... dang he's a cutie... cracked me up... my cohort who was going for his license filled me in on more details about the airport... think I need to start hanging out in the restaurant for breakfast on weekends... apparently folks fly in just for the meal... place doesn't look like much... but who knows... my NJ sister says they are reputed to have the best pie in the area... so much for protein power... ;-)
I am psyched, but going to play it out slowly... this is a very small town... got to be cool and let folks get to know me gradually... don't want to scare anyone... LOL...
Got the pictures back today... spent about an hour flipping them... they were all scanned upside down... pain in the neck... not the greatest shots I've ever taken but they tell the story... it was a little hazier than it appeared to the naked eye... the glider bubble may have had something to do with it... it was fun seeing the house from the air again... :-)
Ditto on the TGIF... Free at last Free at last... for two days at least... ;-)
