Oh I see - the ole sell at the ask mantra...Works well when a stock is in full run and the ask is about to turn over to the bid anyway...So on slow days like today. I doubt if anyone was able to sell on the ask on an uptick..

conversely it has been very instructional here when folks were sitting on the bid during times of weakness and bragging at the discount they received only to see the bid collapse into the weakness...

So in the best of times and the worst flks should always ask slap but in practice majority of retailers will simply buy the ask and sell at the bid price...
