I was thinking that their skills are very similar and with such overlap it is not that weird that one steps down.
That doesn’t explain the timing of the departure—when AASLD is right around the corner.
I’m not saying that something untoward is definitely going on, but neither am I ruling out such a possibility by assuming that Graves’ departure is personal and benign.
