For one thing, a legitimate company is limited to using legitimate methods and information--no fraud; no support of the price at critical times during the dump; no information spoon-fed to V. I. S.s (very important suckers) in contravention of Reg FD. Don't underestimate the value of those fraudulent press releases in hyping the stock to the ignorant, who will often declare that the information must be true, since no one has gone to jail.
