Very Good Post sf! JPM setting up an entire arm to deal with a merger with WMI is possible [WMI executes would have control of new company] Are they starting a forced slim down? Maybe, who is forcing them? Fed, Treasury, FDIC, Congress? Maybe they are worried JPMC is getting too big and powerful, so they are forcing them to slim down using the capital liquidity position as their reason. This is a very interesting development, I wonder how their stock is doing today?
