Please, do not attempt to shift responsibility to the shareholders for this mess. Where shareholders choose to put their money is their concern and it is every investors right to see that the company is managed in an honest, intelligent and profitable manner. I am afraid DR's past record does not inspire confidence for many investors. Using the old line, "if you don't like it, sell your shares and move on", is getting stale.
