Tasigna has PFS of 6 months in blast phase, greater than 13 months in accelerated phase in patients failing Gleevec. Perhaps the bar has been set too high.
A 10% complete cytogenetic response rate is not impressive.

The big problem for Chemgenex is the drug isn't oral, it's chemo, it doesn't work very well and has classic chemo side effects. I don't understand the enthusiasm with this one.
