The Freedoms Trial closed recruitment mid July 2007 so the 24 month primary study goal was reached 2 months ago. ECTRIMS had a deadline for their late breaking abstracts on July 15th so I'm sure NVS would have had trouble meeting that deadline.
This isn't to say they couldn't have made a public announcement.
