The only way to sell easily is into a rally, trying to sell into a huge selloff can be disasterous. Sometimes, it goes down so fast that they will not fill you even when you set a limit order way below the current price. When that happens, there's nothing you can do. I've lost a lot in those situations. I've learned through experience to sell into the rallies, otherwise all bets are off.
