I just tended a 90y/o thru the last stages of life, who was severely impaired from the ravages of rheumatoid arthritis for many decades, but managed to live independantly and well. She was fully in touch with the reality of her condition, yet she was able to attract and interact positively with many friends. Even in her final days with the hospital staff, the glass was half full and the process was reality based and natural, but without negative thoughts.
