It's a pathetic investment in great science, I fully believe in the science-just the RD part should be worth $10 but.....I don't want to open up the management stinks versus it's not their fault debate. It's just so depressing to be in such a mess especially when I have had 2 reasonable chances to exit both in summer 07 ( I bought a bunch around a buck in the winter of 2006) @ nearly $3 and Fall 2008 as the market was crumbling and we held in around $1 and there was a major opportunity brewing in other parts of the market. I will say back in 2006, February I had a client who owned about $2 million of Cortex was able to liquidate into the pre-ADHD results market a little like the BAM is doing today, ie: someone was willing to buy it when he sold it unsolicited, I liquidated a bunch, say 700,000 in a week in the $2.25-2.50 range when it traded 200,000 or less a day. I think ( and I have not spoken to Mark) they have a 2 tiered deal based on SA flop versus promising SA data. Promising SA? I think a buck, then higher is quite doable and the money is better. I know the size of the patient population is a problem but the unmet need? Huge. That is why there is all this buying of BAM's block. Bad SA, no real downside and we can begin in one way or another ADHD, which is extremely promising. Maybe .60 ?
