I'll cite a personal story, if you care to read.
I was in the 8th grade and was one of the brightest kid (I mean I used study a lot and take education seriously) in my class. I used to be called in by the teacher to explain physics, chemistry, math. I was the best in science. In the final test I landed up with a bunch of B's B+'s and hence was called into the principals office. All my science teachers were expecting me to top in the class. (I went to school outside of USA where all the list of names of students will be posted on the board in terms of ranking and grades.) The teachers were trying to find out what was going wrong with me as I almost could answer any question at any time. We found out that, I didn't taker the exam seriously and couldn't finish the tests in time and hence the bad grades. Every sigle question I answered was correct but I could barely finish half the test. That is because my thinking was that as long as I understood everything well, I am doing well in my studies. My teachers took a lot of pain and effort to explain me that the test scores are as important as the understanding of the subject. The world is going to look at my test scores. It took few meetings with the teachers and a lot of effort in my part to "ALSO" focus on the test score. As they say, rest is history. I have had staright A's all my career and I obtained a Ph.D., and an MBA here in USA and was a professor for a while before getting into investment. Test scores matter so as pps. Just understanding of the subject is not enough.
FTCH has been sliding from its recent high of 0.18 in mid May and now has lost more than 77% of its value since then. If the management doesn't come to the understanding
that pps matters they will not succeed. Mark my post.
Been investing since 1996 and have more than 150 stcoks in my portfolio and have some since 1996 that I have not sold. Only 3 pennys inluding FTCH in my portfolio.
I don't think we have any disagreement with the view of the co.'s product or what the co. is doing. It appears to me that you and some others folks don't mind the pps going lower, doesn't matter how low it goes as long as the co. is growing. I have a disagreement there. That's all!
