The hope is to artificially blow up the stock price to get listed on a major exchange.......except what normally happens is that it is short-lived and ends up in the 98% loss .....but the shareholder that held strong loses all their money for being faithful.
You play with fire, you get burned.
.....except that if you bail to cut losses the company rescinds the R/S and you lose your investment because you WEREN'T faithful. In the mean time, you can't put trailing stops on these kind of stocks so you can never rely on a safety net to ensure profits. AND, if you DO manage to make a killing in profit, the gubment ass-rapes you on capital gains taxes.
