I know it is more of an expense, and I do deal with larger average ticket price so that does make a difference. And I know I can call in for confirmation if I do off site sales and then key the card in later, and that costs more too. But you never want to ignore a revenue stream. I just would hate to have her lose business because of that. I charge everything from gas to groceries and just pay the card off every month, I like the "rewards" I almost never carry cash. But going places I know only take cash, then I prepare and have some cash with me.
I know we made mistakes when we first started. Our bank was charging us over 10% of the sale using their service. I didn't know what was available. Needless to say I do not do business with them anymore. I think she is starting off right though and just want to be helpful.
