but oh how they tried......i certainly remember, with near 90% of the precincts reporting, gwb was up by 50,000 votes, and voila, by the time it reached 100% of the precincts reporting, it was tied!

the most extraordinary statistic is that palm beach county, as a per-capita percentage, not only led the nation in most double punched ballots in 2000, but in 1996 also........that's like getting hit by lightning 30 times
