I see that was yesterday, no one complained to me, to say its offensive to 99% of the readers: where does that figure come from?....Bushes "tone-forcfulness" when he speaks (and on that talk) DOES sound like Hitler at least to me, and to others i have spoken with...I find it offensive Bush has ridiculed Dean for ONE BRIEF scream speech when Dean was only trying to speak loud over the cheering crowd and Bush has also lambasted a screaming AL gore speech, when gore pointed out Bushes lies...i said Bush sounded like Hitler..i didnt say he was, but frankly the tactics he and his admin use are scary to many and smack of something not American the way it should be and was before he took office.

Should posters screen unpopular opinions with you before posting ? I have posted a number of reasons why Bush is not like Hitler, so I don't agree with Maine, but aren't all posters entitled to their own (non-threatening) opinions ?

Some liberals are so obsessed by their hatred of Bush, it's almost scary...... worse than conservatives were about Clinton. You can have a different opinion about the speech (I personally thought it was quite good) but to say it sounded like Hitler is just beyond the pale !

I strongly believe that for whatever reasons, Mr Bush has been appeased and largely by the democratic party. I find the dems almost equally guilty, you know that if you read the jist of what i say. ANYWAY, i find it ironic Bush has talked of appeasing dictators, aka Saddam, when in fact i think Bush is being apeased here, (in multiple areas, not just the war) and i find that scary. Is it not true that Hitler was appeased?..Now, that comparison is meant in general. I see evil in Bush, is it the same evil as Hitler?
Of course not; could intentions, either thought out by him or his crew OR some that may develop from their actions, in the future lead to some awful ruler here, of course it could...
I think Bush was given a pass due to 9/11, etc...but should the opposite be true?
IF we as a people are complacent and are afraid to speak out and appease. I recall me speaking out the day the bombing began...i was wrong to post on the trading board, but i was roundly critiziced by many inc you for "what" i said not where as well...maybe thats the "lack of humanity", that the news piece is talking about. AND ON THAT DAY and following i received many pm's from poeple saying they agreed with me but were scared to speak out publicly..that is scary my friend.
