Ya the road to the sun should have towers everywhere. Nice place. Late in the season so the bears should be down in the lower areas eating berries. (Worst problem there - rangers are on top of it and very few incidents.) Flat head lake is one of the most beautiful lake views ever..... Payette lake is a very close second and tahoe is third in continental US. IMO Ten days will be an excellent detox.
