They are not. This is not the first or only NDD out there to receive FDA approval, (same technology) so ain't nothin got snatched from anybody!
Unfortunately, these others have had problems too and are not doing so well either.
Safeguard has only home use approval, a couple others I found are approved for commercial use. Unless I have misinterpreted my FDA research of the matter, further FDA approval will be required before ASFX is able to market to hospitals, healthcare facilities, etc.
Perhaps you can add more indepth info to shed more light on this 'plan' of ASR.
