Thanks, Dave. I first suspected my ISP, but have since learned that Google is having problems for some users worldwide (lucky me!), so not an Ihub problem. Downloaded an add-on for Firefox that stops scripts running on a page selectively, and that seems to have ended the problem. Thanks. . .
