Yes, most of the New Jersey dairy farms have now morphed into planned unit developments, but the vastness and diversity of undeveloped natural resources across the continental USA is still a contributing factor to our potential future growth, IMO. As to wetlands, here in So.California, the Coastal Commission regulates the development of wetlands, and a law has been put in place whereby anyone developing wetlands must replace the lost area by creating new wetlands environments elsewhere.
